Thanksgiving is less than a week away HERE, which means Black Friday sales are right around the corner…if they haven’t already started. Yes, everyone seems to have forgotten Thanksgiving this year and skipped right over to Christmas with a stop at Black Friday. What does that mean for you? It means sales. Lots and lots of sales. Who’s ready?
What We Shop for During a Black Friday Sale
Everything. Maybe you’re scooping up those last few pieces for your fall and winter wardrobe. Or maybe you’re planning ahead for spring next year. Or maybe, you’re just stocking up on things because it’s a good deal. Have you seen my other posts? Items in this post are 30% off for Black Friday! You know, I love a good sale!
Retailers have been rolling out sales since after Halloween. If you see a good deal, jump on it. Check the return policy and use it if the price drops. Is it a hassle? Maybe. But, is it worth saving 30% off your purchase. That’s a definite, yes. I’ve purchased this jacket FIVE times. On the fifth time, I got it for less than 50% of the retail price! Am I done yet? Let’s find out!

Do you want to know how to save even more during Black Friday sales? Stack your offers. For example, the Saks Fifth Avenue sale. This Dagne Dover bag is 25% off right now. This bag is also eligible for the gift card offer. Therefore, you spend $161.25 for a $215 bag (already a great discount) and get $75 to spend later. It’s like getting the bag for $86!
Do you see something you like on Black Friday, but it’s not “on sale?” You can make your own sale. Remember when I said Best Buy sells gift cards? For example, a $100 Adidas gift card is on sale at BEST BUY for $80. So you spend $80 at Best Buy to be able to spend $100 at Adidas. You’re saving 20% before any other offers apply! Time to get those Sambas that never go on sale!
What Did I Buy?
I’ve done some damage already since Halloween. That’s when Black Friday starts now, right? Want to see what I bought this year? These earrings are an unexpected favorite. Pillows because I need some new ones. These metallic Birks because I’m planning for next year. Don’t worry, I’m working on the ALLSAINTS leather jacket deal and the SAKS deal. You know I LOVE to maximize my savings.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the sales keep coming and I will keep updating. Here’s a little advice. Plan early. Shop hard. Invest in what you need. Avoid the fluff. Do not buy anything on final sale unless you’ve tried it on already AND know you love it. You don’t need that many holiday dresses. How many black coats do you really need? I am guilty of this. Say yes to diamonds, always.
