The houndstooth print is having a moment…again. I said it last year. Yes, after months of being MIA, houndstooth is back for Fall/Winter 2021/2022 season! Why do we love it? It’s quite simple. The houndstooth print has a timeless appearance, yet comes and goes in different variations like color, size, etc. While we see this pattern most often in black and white, designers and the mass market are showcasing it in a multitude of color variations. I LOVE this variation from Tar-jay.

Houndstooth is a pattern that can be combined with just about anything and everything for any occasion, whether it be casual, formal or something in between. Personally, I think this pattern will NEVER go out of style, simply because of its classic look. If you can only buy one piece of clothing, one pair of shoes or one bag to update your wardrobe this season, make sure it’s in houndstooth print. This print always keeps coming back!

Why? Because a houndstooth print makes you look like a million $$$. Thanks to high end design houses like Balmain and Chanel, who LOOOVE a houndstooth, an every day houndstooth can look like an expensive houndstooth. Pair houndstooth with your every day jean or leather pants. My go-to faux leather leggings would look amazing with all things houndstooth.
