When you’re looking for a wow gift, a pair of designer sunglasses might be just the thing you’re looking for. Designer sunglasses are an affordable luxury that make great gifts. The giver is deemed super generous by presenting a gift with a huge wow factor, while the receiver is showered in luxury.

While the prices of designer handbags, shoes and clothing increase every year, designer sunglasses seem to still be within reach. They are what I like to call an affordable luxury.

I use sunglasses as a finishing touch to my outfit. They are the exclamation point to my fashion statement. And just like a shoe or a handbag, sunglasses can be worn season after season. Also, a good quality pair of sunglasses can completely block all harmful UVA and UVB rays. This alone can make the money spent worth it as they can protect eyes from all risks related to sun exposure.

But, enough with the PSA. How can I make this affordable luxury gift even more affordable? Answer: You can stalk the pair you like and hope it goes on sale. Or you can see what I found at Nordstrom Rack and the Net-a-Porter sale. My number ones are these Stella McCartney ones. Under $70, down from $430! Now, that ‘s what I call a steal! And no one said you can’t give a gift to yourself.
