Amazon Dress Haul
I found 8 black dresses for summer that fit almost any occasion. I’m obsessed with black and I’m obsessed with ordering from Amazon. Did you see my previous post? I add things to my cart daily, edit and try to place a weekly order. Sometimes it doesn’t always work out like that, but I’m trying to be organized and keep a schedule over here. I shopped a variety of styles and silhouettes, so there’s no doubt you’ll find something you need. Come take a look at my lovely haul of black dresses.
Why a Black Dress Haul?
Why black dresses? I cannot think of a wardrobe stable better than a little black dress. Black is an extremely flattering color. It’s also the perfect palette for accessories. Who wants to think about putting together an entire outfit, when you can just throw on one thing and go? Life is easier when it’s just a dress and some shoes.
8 Black Dresses for Summer
First, I LIVE in dresses in the summer and I LIVE in an all black ensemble no matter the season. Second, the dress on the cover is an updated version of this one. I love the added white piping to this style.
This Amazon dress is a hot one! The dress fabric is a wide rib. I love the tie front detail. The tie front makes the top portion adjustable. The double slit allows for easy movement. I’m wearing an xs for reference.
This season, I gravitate towards cut-outs. I like center cut-outs, side cut-outs, back cut-outs, etc. It’s doesn’t matter. If a piece of the dress looks like it’s missing, I’m here for it. The center ruching on this little black dress is very flattering. The fabric is beefy and the twist front detail looks expensive. I styled it with a blazer for date night and alone with sneakers or Birkenstocks for a casual daytime look.
I wasn’t kidding when I said cut-outs are my thing. This dress is flattering, but this cut-out was too much for me. Yes, the cut-out is adjustable, which is a huge plus. But I felt too bare and that made me uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this one was a no for me. However, it can be a HUGE yes for you. Everything looks amazing. It just didn’t make me feel amazing.
Obviously, I had to get this one. This black dress has a cut-out AND pockets. The fabric is more casual, but the look is expensive. With the right shoes, you can wear this to anything. In addition, this dress is a great piece to pack for a vacation. It works the beach or pool, as well as a night out. This black dress is multipurpose.
More Black Dresses
Need more options? YES!!! Love this dress. This one’s perfect as wedding guest dress or for an event you might have. AND it’s machine washable and under $35. You cannot beat this one! I love the slight sheen on it.
Also, this one would work as a wedding guest dress or a brunch dress…or a shower dress. The high neck gives this one an elegant look. The fabric is soft and feels amazing, however, it doesn’t breathe. I’d save this dress for an indoor event. The high neck and fabric combo will keep you warm.
Finally, I’m throwing this black romper on here because it looks like a black dress. This one is as easy as a dress, but gives the option to be more active.
Conclusion
Black dresses are necessary, absolutely. Every person should have, without a doubt, at least three black dresses. One casual, one formal and one in between. My Amazon Haul found me 8 amazing black dresses for summer. Amazon is an AMAZING resource for adding pieces to your wardrobe. As you know, I’m a HUGE fan of high-low fashion.
