Fall Transition Piece
Fall is coming. Who’s ready? Do you have your favorite fall transition piece ready? Is it PSL season, yet? IYKYK. I am not a Pumpkin Spice Latte girl. I like my coffee hot and with honey or condensed milk if you’re buying. Speaking of buying, did you start “back to school shopping?” I like to think that back to school shopping just means buying for a new season. So, yes, I started shopping so you can too.
New styles are added to Amazon’s selection daily. I comb through A LOT of stuff for you. Have you seen my other posts? Yes, I know it’s still summer. It NEVER hurts to plan ahead. I focus of pieces that can buy now, and possibly wear now, AND will take you into the fall.
Vests
I love a good layering piece. Padded vests are great fall transition pieces. I like the ones that are lightweight and oversized for layering. I like to wear my vests with bike shorts first. These are my favorite. Then, as the weather changes, add more layers, thicker layers and finally, pants.
This padded vest is a must-try! It’s slightly oversize and has a zipper and buttons. I rarely zip or close my jackets as I think it’s a look for me. But, it’s nice to have the hardware option. Yes, I’m trying the vest in two colors. You know I like to wear black on black on black. Sometimes, I throw another color in there for pop. We can talk about it later whether white/cream counts as a color. Did I nail the Hailey Bieber look?
Another thought about this padded vest is that it’s great to wear under a coat when it gets even colder. So, we’re talking about this vest taking you all the way to winter. This alone make this fall transition piece a GREAT DEAL! We LOVE to save around here.
Here’s another vest that I like. This Amazon cropped puffer is thicker than the padded vests. I like the added volume as a contrast to the form fitting shorts. This piece is harder to layer under a coat, but it looks darn cute cover a long sleeve shirt with some jeans.
Loungewear
I LOVE lounge set. It’s comfortable and hugs the body beautifully. The fabric is super cozy and super comfy. That being said, I wouldn’t necessarily wear it out in 80 degree weather, but definitely bring it with you for your Labor Day weekend getaway. And then lounge around in the set all fall.
Shacket
Did someone ask for a shacket? A shirt jacket. Here it is! A shirt jacket is a great fall transition piece.
I feel like everyone’s obsessed with this Free People version. It doesn’t come in black, so the FP version (even thought I love it) is not for me. Did I find you one that comes in a multitude of colors, is a waffle knit AND costs a fraction of the price? Of course, I did! You’re welcome.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Amazon is an incredible resource for adding pieces to your wardrobe. Keep investing in quality items and pieces you love. Keep investing in classic accessories and shoes, as those items will stay with you for a long time. For everything else, it’s okay to shop on Amazon and have it delivered in two days or less.
