I’m a shopper. Some people would call me a super-shopper. I prefer an in-store experience, but sometimes shopping online begets the better deal and you can’t beat the convenience. It doesn’t matter what the item is. As long as a transaction happens, I’m satisfied. I’m as happy in Chanel as I am in a grocery store (well…maybe not exactly the same). The point is, I like to shop.
Shopping costs money. Yes, shopping is spending money. And during a time like this, spending extra money might not be an option. Is there a way to make money while shopping? YES! When buying both essential items and non-essential items, there is a way to make money while we spend money. I use Ebates and RetailMeNot mostly. I will look into others as I have a little more time on my hands these days, but these two sites are my go-tos. They have so many stores and promo codes. Bloomingdales, Gap, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walgreens, etc. This is the easiest way to make money while you shop. Ebates and RetailMeNot work the same way. You go to their website, sign-in, search for your shopping destination and then click through their portal. Buy what you need and BOOM! You just made some money.
Some people might look at it and say, you’re still spending money, how are you making money? The answer. You would’ve spent the money any way, now you’re getting money back for spending it. Isn’t this just saving money? Yes! The saying goes “a penny saved is a penny earned.”
