I have a rule in my household that nothing Christmas happens until Thanksgiving is over. With that being said, it doesn’t hurt to start planning because Christmas is right around the corner. Have you started thinking about that tree? I was scrolling through Instagram last night and came across Diana Harbour’s Christmas tree post. If you don’t know who she is, Diana is the fabulous owner of Red Dress, an affordable online boutique for women. Can we talk about #treegoals? Whether you have an elaborate plan for your tree or you like to add to your ornament collection, it’s never too early to start shopping…especially because Black Friday is running all month long this year.
Though I will not be putting up a Christmas tree soon, I will be stalking ornaments that will be making an appearance this year and ones that I plan to buy when they go on sale the day after Christmas. Yes, that’s a thing. I recommend stocking up on basics like glass balls when they go on sale and save them for the following year. Basics, just like in clothing, are timeless. Items that are more special, like these marbled balls, scoop them up while they’re available.
I need this donut ornament from Anthropologie. The colors are on point and this whole year has been so stressful that I think I need a donut every. single. day. to make it better. And this caviar ornament is so ridiculous I might need to add it to my collection. It would make me feel so fancy. And I might add this game controller for hubby. Sshhh don’t tell.
Whatever you’re looking for, I love the option to shop by color, by the bundle or individually at Crate and Barrel and Target. It makes planning your tree a breeze. If you want an even more personal touch and want to DIY or do a combo, Susan Baldwin of Double Arrow Designs has a great post for a subway map ornament here.
Check out more of my picks below. Happy Shopping!
xoxo
