We are in week three of renovations and I can almost see an end in site. The demo part is almost over and they’re starting to put the apartment back together. Meanwhile, I’m trying to furnish the place and have to be aware of lead times and delivery windows. What? Shopping for furniture for an entire apartment sounds fun in theory and then you begin to realize how much work is involved.
This week my focus is on a dining room table. Hubby decided he wanted the Nosh dining chairs from Article so we’re doing this a little backwards. We’re looking for a table to go with the chairs. That’s ok. I’m on the hunt for a round dining table to save space and juxtapose our square living room table. And because Nicole told me it would work. Haha.
We initially wanted this one from Design Within Reach because we saw it months ago at their outlet store in Brooklyn. The below $700 price tag is much more appealing than the non-outlet price. Then, I saw this one at Anthropologie and started to drool. And then I saw another one somewhere else and the prices kept getting higher and higher. Eventually, I came back down to earth because I love a good sale. If I’m going to spend on a pricey item, it better be on sale. This one is my number one right now. Let’s see if I can order it to arrive at the right time and before someone else snags it.
